More Reunion Photos

Hi everybody. If you go to the webpage for the Greene Recorder-- greenerecorder.com, it will take you to their "dotPhoto" site. Click on the Saturday River Days Picture album. Our class float is on page 2, photos 7717 and 7718. Then go to the last page (13)and we have 6 photos of our group--photos 8056-8062.
If you have never been to this site before and have nothing better to do, click on the old photos album. Yes, I found some pics from one of our Jr. High dances at the teen center or whatever we called it. Lots of Girl Scout old photos, too. Interesting.

Photos from 35th Reunion

Ok, now I need to figure out how to put in photos...hope they show up on the blog and don't disappear into cyberspace...

Hats off to Chuck, Julie, Pam, Randy, John, Meredith, & their spouses for their fantastic work putting together such an awesome 35th GHS Class Reunion.
I know some of you made it down to Perrin Park and the beer tent on Friday night and had a good time catching up on news, and then 24 or so of us participated in Greene's "Good Old River Days" parade....what fun that was....thanks to Meredith's family for the smooth ride, and to Diane for the water sprayers...
The program, supper, and fellowship at the County Club was great. Again, thank you committee for all your work....can you imagine--about 33 classmates and another 21 or so spouses/escorts. Impressive!!!
Classmates managed to then find each other again down at the beer tent while the band was playing....more conversations and catching up there....promises to attend in 2015.

I think our class is special. When we have a reunion it is not just a bunch of people who happened to go to school at the same time....doesn't it feel more like a family reunion??? I think we got that part right....the consideration and caring that true friends have.

My family uses a blog to share and hopefully our class can use this new blog dedicated to our class to share what is going on...successes, concerns, celebrations, photos---whatever is happening in your life. I have never set up a blog or posted on one before but am willing to try, so join me in this new venture and see if we can make a go of it....Barb Markle Tommingo
